On Saturday 4th November 2000 at The Rufus Centre, Flitwick, Beds; The Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Master Masons of Bedfordshire presented a Crusader 900 Multi Role Ambulance to St John Ambulance in Bedfordshire. The Ambulance was purchased as part of the contribution from the nationwide Charity Donation by the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons Fund of Benevolence. The Provincial Grand Master for Bedfordshire, Harry Arnold, said it was achieved by the members of 9 Mark Lodges in the County giving money to charity for the benefit of the Community.

The Ambulance was received on behalf of the volunteers of St John Ambulance by the Commander for Bedfordshire, Peter Lousada. who said  “This Ambulance will enable us to provide a more professional service to the community of Bedfordshire. We are most grateful to our supporters in the County, and especially today to the Mark Master Masons”.
